The month of July is loaded with amazing sounds at the Riverbend, including popular acts like the Goo Goo Dolls and Daughtry with Plain White T’s on July 1st.  On July fourth, you can enjoy the holiday in style listening to the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra as they present Red, White & Boom! Smack dab in the middle of the month you can enjoy Kiss and Def Leppard and keep the sounds going all the way through the rest of July. 

2.  Bogart’s 

Start July off with some Deltron 3030 at Bogart’s and enjoy a completely new sound.  On July 12th enjoy Dweezel Zappa bringing you Dweezilla on the Road at 3 pm and then back that same night at 7 for Zappa plays Zappa.  Black Label Society, Black Stone Cherry and Gogol Bordello will help you finish up the month if you want to mix your rock sounds around and keep your rhythm guessing. 

3. Taft Theatre  

 With Taft you start the month with John Hiatt & the Combo. If you are in mood to mix things up, you might just head on in on the 18th and give a listen to Jay Mohr and see where his comedy stylings take you.  Finish up the month with Royal Blood on the 26th and enjoy some strong and anguished vocals being blasted to you with ferocious drumming and a mad bass.  It’s hard to go wrong with a crazy mix of talents like this in the month of July

4. Bunbury Music Festival    

If you don’t already have plans for July 11th through the 13th, this music festival is a must-see.  The three day event will features acts ranging from Flaming Lips to Fall Out Boy, with up and coming artists like Young the Giant and hard rhythm from Cage the Elephant. The festival will be located at Sawyer Point/Yeatman’s Cove at 705 East Rose Way in Cincinnati, OH 45202.
