Ringing in 2015
Are you still trying to decide how you are going to celebrate the New Year? Before you resign yourself to setting on your couch and watching the ball drop, you should think about all of the fun and exciting events that are going on near you. After all, the best way to get the year started off on the right foot is to ring it in with a bang. Cincinnati is full of fun a hopping places to hit this New Year’s Eve. Instead of sitting at home, you should get a group of friends and family together to celebrate another year full of fantastic opportunities.
The Big Easy New Year’s Eve Concert & Ball
In today’s casual world, there simply are not many opportunities to get dressed up and attend a formal event. New Year’s Eve, however, is one time of year where you can buy tickets to formal events all over the city. One such spectacular event is The Big Easy New Year’s Eve Concert & Ball hosted by the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra. This formal but fun event is a tribute to jazz and Dixieland. The ballroom at the orchestra will be done up with décor in a classic New Orleans style. Tickets for the concert and entrance into the ballroom range from $185-$250.
Newport Syndicate
Another wonderful ballroom New Year’s event is being held at Newport Syndicate. For $125 a ticket, you will be granted access to the Grand Ballroom and dance the night away to live music performed by The Rusty Griswold’s. A complimentary dinner buffet will also be included in the price of your ticket. The Newport Syndicate also has other ticket opportunities ranging from access to the Ambassador Room, The Flamingo Room, and the piano bar. Whichever event you choose to attend is sure to be a fun filled way to spend your New Years Eve.
Sports Pubs and Bowling
If formal events do not excite you, there are still plenty of events being held in the Cincinnati area that will still be plenty of fun. Pair a Dice Sports Pub, for example, puts on New Year’s Eve party featuring live music and food service for no cover charge. You can also ring in the New Year with a game of bowling at Star Lanes. Keep in mind, however, that while Star Lanes is a venue appropriate for families during the day time hours, the venue does become a 21+ location after nine o’clock.
Limo Party
Lastly, you don’t need to make preplanned reservations to have a blast on New Year’s Eve. You can simply get a group of friends together for a night out on the town. Head over to your favorite restaurants, bars, and clubs and you will be sure to find a hopping party wherever you go. Keep in mind that the best way to stay safe on a night of barhopping is to arrange for reliable transportation. Renting a limo or a party bus will allow you and your friend to travel around the city in style while staying safe in the hands of a responsible and sober driver.
Now that you have a few idea of how you can ring in the New Year, there is no reason to celebrate at home by yourself. When you have a great New Year’s Eve, you are setting yourself up to have a great year. If you decide to book professional transportation for your New Year’s event, make sure that you know the size of your party and the hours during which you will need a car. You will also want to make reservations as soon as possible. After all, on a big night like New Year’s, professional car services get booked up quickly.
