The weather is beautiful and people are more likely to travel for destination weddings or have the time off needed to take a honeymoon. Planning a wedding during this time can be even more difficult than usual due to vendors being booked up for other events. Speaking of wedding vendors, how do you even know which one is the right one for you and your wedding? Word of mouth and regular advertising are often the only ways brides find out about the different options available. Unfortunately, that may not be enough to know if their vision will align with yours.
The best way to pick the right wedding vendor for your upcoming wedding is to attend a bridal show. Bridal shows bring the best in the business from your area together for brides and grooms alike to come see what they’re all about. We’ve put together a list of some of the upcoming bridal shows planned around Cincinnati this year so you can get out and see first-hand which bridal vendor is best for you.
After Hours Bridal Show
March 10th 6pm – 9pm
Your first chance at checking out more than 70 of Cincinnati’s best and brightest in the wedding industry is coming up on March 10th. This will be the fourth annual After Hours Bridal Show held by A Bride’s Mafia and the last shows have been a wild success. This year the hosts are giving attendees a chance at winning a $20,000 wedding package that includes everything from the venue to the entertainment!
A Bridal Affair
March 16th 6pm – 9pm
Held at the beautiful Mason House in Mason, OH, A Bridal Affair is putting on one of their well-known intimate elegant wedding shows. Here you will not only find the best wedding vendors in the area, but also the latest in wedding trends and a chance at winning a pair of wedding bands. Admission is free to all brides and their families that pre-register and every bride will receive a wedding savings certificate worth more than $2,000 from the Bridal Affairs vendors!
Yankee Trace Wedding Showcase
March 19th 12pm – 4pm
If you want to see what an actual reception would look like put on by the different vendors, the Yankee Trace Wedding Showcase is right up your alley. You’ll actually be able to tour the venues setup as they would be for a wedding as well as having the opportunity to see the different vendors at work. For just $5 admission you can take along a friend or family member for free and get a true feeling for what each vendor is capable of.
Brides and Blooms
April 16th 10am – 1:30pm
The Brides and Blooms show is held on April 16th during the weeklong Cincinnati Flower Show. For the $40 admission, you can enjoy a Bridal Brunch and fashion show as well as gaining entrance to the Flower Show. The vendors showcased will include florists, caterers, and bakeries while the show will feature attire for the bride AND the groom!
If you have the time before your big day, we recommend hitting a few of these bridal shows. Some may feature vendors that others don’t and you won’t want to miss out on any of them!
