4 Best Bachelor Party Cities in the World

Being a best man requires more work than it looks. While a good best man may have been the groom-to-be’s best wingman before his engagement, he must not “wing it” when planning pre-wedding events. This is especially true for the bachelor party.

There is an art to assembling the right itinerary to commemorate and celebrate this special event. To make the best man’s job easier, we found the world’s top 4 bachelor party cities, courtesy of CNN Travel.

1. Las Vegas

This one’s obvious. Las Vegas has always been the unofficial national hot spot for bachelor and bachelorette parties.

Chances are you’ll be looking for a Rat Pack redux: a little food, a little flirting and a lot of fun.

If your party means hitting the golf course, set up a tee time at the Royal Links. There, you can request a par mate, an attractive young lady who can call in food and beverage orders, and generally offer five-star assistance on the course.

Feel the need for speed? Check out Exotics Racing. Just 20 minutes from the Strip, Exotics Racing gets you behind the wheel of the world’s fastest super cars. For a piece of sports history, check out Score! inside the Luxor, featuring more than 200 prized memorabilia covering the gridiron, diamond, hardwood, pitch and more. It’s an interactive exhibit where you can even “Be the Legend” by participating in challenges and signing with virtual agents.

Pre-dinner drinks? Pick a hotel, find the lobby bar and have at it – they’re all great for people watching.

Then, it’s time to fill up on a hearty meal. Check out Vic & Anthony’s Steakhouse at Golden Nugget or take on the 35-ounce Tomahawk steak at 35 Steaks + Martinis at the Hard Rock Hotel.

Nighttime, though, is when the party really starts. Start the evening with a show, like the outrageous and politically incorrect Absinthe at Caesars Palace. Hosted by the foul-mouthed Gazillionaire and his raucous assistant, Penny Pibbets, Absinthe delivers raunchy comedy and old-world burlesque. Catch the late shows of Fantasy, X Burlesque, or Crazy Girls and experience what makes Vegas an adult playground.

Continue the party at XS Nightclub inside Encore at Wynn Las Vegas, where you can grab one of the 95 indoor VIP tables or choose bottle service poolside in one of the 30 VIP cabanas. Late night, TAO at The Venetian is always hot. Lots of dancing, drinks and high-energy fun.

For a more unusual experience than you’ll get from a typical night of clubbing, Machine Guns Vegas provides a bachelor party package that begins with heavy artillery and ends at Sapphire, a 70,000-square-foot adult entertainment club.

2. New Orleans

It doesn’t take much planning to find a fun night in New Orleans. Between its jazz clubs, cozy bars, and luxe lounges, New Orleans has what it takes to create the night of a lifetime.

All the fun takes place on Bourbon Street, a 13-block stretch where every weekend is Mardi Gras.

Start out at Lafitte’s Blacksmith Shop – the perfect place to stop and get a quick drink before really hitting the town. This historic building dates back to 1772 and provides the perfect location for getting a feel of old New Orleans while gearing up for a long night ahead.

Other great historic bars include The Old Absinthe House, Napoleon House, The French 75 Bar at Arnaud’s or The Monteleone Hotel’s Carousel Piano Bar.

Venture back out onto Bourbon St. and make your way up to St. Peters Street, where you will find legendary Pat O’Brien’s. Grab a seat outside in the courtyard bar and enjoy the tasty – but potent – Hurricane cocktail alongside the awe-inspiring fire fountain.

If you’re not quite ready to call it a night, head over to the Gold Mine Saloon, located on Orleans Avenue and Dauphine street. This late-night dive offers dancing, drinking and even flaming shots, for the brave bachelor.

3. Paradise Island, Bahamas

The name says it all. Paradise Island is home to Atlantis, a megaresort that makes fantasy a reality. Here are 2 spots in Atlantis you MUST visit for your bachelor party.

Aura

This nightclub is one of the hottest nightclubs in Nassau Paradise Island. The hip, posh and elegant Aura Nightclub brings late night entertainment to new heights with exceptional service and internationally renowned DJs spinning the latest tracks.

Take the grand staircase from Atlantis Casino up to this pulsating dance venue. Designed by Jeffrey Beers, Aura delivers 9,000 square feet of stylish space that includes a sunken glass dance floor surrounded by lush VIP seating, two bars, two VIP sections and a private VIP Parlor.

European-style bottle service and a steady stream of celebrity patrons help make any night truly unforgettable.

Sea Glass

The Sea Glass is located at the heart of The Cove Atlantis main lobby, perfectly situated atop Paradise Beach. This natural place is not only designed to offer guests a chance to enjoy a little socializing in a low-key environment, it’s also designed for guests to fully take in one of the spectacular Bahamian sunsets.

Be sure to order a Coveniti – a refreshing mix of raspberry and mango with a hint of lime.

4. Munich

The exciting European nightlife of Munich is sure to impress on your mind unforgettable memories of your stag party experience.

At P1, the legendary nightclub in Prinzregentenstraße 1, you’ll find the rich and the beautiful partying here. Celebrate your last moments as a bachelor among stars and starlets. This started as a US Army Officer’s club and is now the number 1 nightclub in Munich.

For a more intimate atmosphere, stop by Atomic Cafe in the city’s center. The 1960s deco and comfy sofas next to the dance floor make for a cosy and unpretentious atmosphere for individualists.

Klangwelt is a huge new night club that attracts a young crowd. It’s got a total of 3,000 square meters with several rooms each playing different music styles.

Come during Oktoberfest for a beer celebration unmatched in the world. Of the 200 biergartens in the city, the oldest and best is Beer Garden Augustiner Keller.
