3 of Cincinnati’s Best 4th of July Fireworks Shows 
As Independence Day gets closer, the question on everyone’s mind is: Where are we going to watch fireworks? The 4th of July isn’t the same without a fireworks show. Throw in some barbecue and beer and you’ve got all the ingredients for a rocking Thursday night (yes, the 4th falls on a Thursday this year). Celebrating the 4th of July on the 3rd
If you’re planning to kick the holiday off on July 3rd so you can sleep in on the 4th, definitely head to Fountain Square, on 5th & Vine Streets, for the 4th of July Bash at 10 p.m. Celebrate America’s birthday with friends and family by watching a spectacular fireworks show paint the Cincinnati sky from the rooftop of Macy’s downtown store.
We recommend starting celebrating the holiday early in the evening by attending the Wednesday Reggae concert that precedes the fireworks show and begins at 6 p.m. Admission to the concert and fireworks show is free.
All American Birthday Fireworks
If you’re looking for live music and fireworks on July 4th itself, head on over to Sawyer Point & Yeatman’s Cove. In addition to riverside fireworks and music, guests will enjoy games, contests, great food and much more. Music starts at 6 p.m. and fireworks at 10 p.m. This Independence Day celebration is sponsored by Fifth Third Bank, Queen City Sausage, WEBN, the City of Newport, the City of Cincinnati, the Cincinnati Park Board, and the Cincinnati Parks Foundation. Alternate Fireworks Option At Ault Park
Visit Ault Park at 3600 Observatory Ave. for a free, fun-filled Independence Day celebration. Music and concessions begin at 6 p.m. Food options will include hot dogs, hamburgers, barbecue, pretzels, ice cream, pizza and cajun food.
