Cincinnati Brewery Tours to Take This Weekend

Experience the Best in Cincy Brews

Cincinnati Brewery ToursIt doesn’t matter what time of year it is, there is always a way to get out and enjoy the city. One of our favorite ways to explore Cincinnati and have fun is by touring a few breweries. Since beer helped build the city of Cincinnati, it should come as no surprise that there are several to choose from. Not only will you be able to sample some fantastic locally brewed concoctions, you will also be treated to beautiful pre-Prohibition brewery architecture in the Brewery District of Cincinnati. Touring these breweries is an excellent way to connect with the rich history of Cincinnati while also supporting local craft brewers.

While it would be impossible to touch on every single brewery in Cincinnati in one post, we’ve at least narrowed it down to some of the most unique and most popular options found here in the city.

The Industrious Tour

If you want to experience a true bit of Cincinnati brewing history, the Industrious Tour offered by Cincinnati Brewery Tours is the one for you. This hour long walking tour starts at the Christian Moerlein Malthouse Tap Room in Over-the Rhine and will take you by a mural that showcases the beer industry of Cincinnati. You’ll hear just how important the role of beer and brewery workers had on building the city of Cincinnati while going underground in the Schmidt Brothers/Crown Brewery lagering cellars and tunnels. If you pride yourself on being a history buff keen on learning all you can about the history of our great city, the Industrious Tour is the perfect choice.

Listermann Brewing

Have you ever been interested in brewing your own beer at home? Some of the most popular brews offered around the city of Cincinnati got their start in someone’s basement. If the idea of learning how to make your own beer is appealing to you, head to Listermann Brewing for a tour of their facilities, a stop into their taproom, and take a class on brewing basics. They offer beginner and advanced classes, so no matter how much (or how little) you know about the process, you will leave with the information you need to start your own homegrown brew.

Rivertown Brewing Company

This unique brewery features a little place called the Barrel House & Arcade. First of all, their tours are only $6, and you get a pint of beer and a signature Rivertown pint glass as a souvenir. Secondly, it’s filled with vintage arcade games that you can play for free all day long! You could feasibly head over to the Rivertown Brewing Company for a full day of games, amazing food, and phenomenal beer. You can even bring the kids along to join in on the fun; just make sure you drink responsibly!

Cellar Dweller Brewery/Valley Vineyards

Maybe not everyone in your group is fond of beer. Some people tend to prefer wine over beer, and if that’s the case for you and your friends, the Cellar Dweller Brewery and Valley Vineyards combine the best of both worlds. Stop in for a tour of both the vineyards and the brewery while also enjoying a cheese plate, pretzel plate, or homemade pizza. This is the place that is sure to please everyone in your group, no matter which alcoholic beverage they prefer!

Since it’s safe to say that you and your friends will be enjoying an adult beverage or two (or three or four), we want to make sure you enjoy your time safely. Reserve a Cincinnati car service for the day of your brewery tour excursion so everyone is able to make it home safe at the end of the day. You won’t have to fight over who gets stuck playing the designated driver and you also don’t have to worry about anyone driving inebriated. Let our professional drivers and luxury limos give your brewery tour trip an added VIP touch that can’t be beat!
